4 Questions You Should Ask Yourself To Find What You’re Passionate About

finding what you're passionate about

Everyone is capable of being passionate about something, but it seems so hard to pursue your passion when you try to fit yourself into a mold and forget about the things you love to do. You and your passion just fell out of touch especially if you are consumed in your daily grind.

At the back of your mind, you want to chase your dreams, but you are just too afraid to take such a big risk.

Some are also in denial, trying to convince themselves that they are fulfilled but there is a void of emptiness that just cannot be filled. The author of this article made such a brave move to finally pursue her passion. Of course, it is not going to be easy as you will be confronted with a lot of nagging doubts and fears.

If  you want to embrace a job that also happens to be your passion, here are ways you will be able to know what really your passion is:

What did you love doing in your childhood?

”I wanted to write and take pictures because the act of creating helped me feel like I was sharing something important with others. Maybe you wanted to be a fireman because you wanted to help people. I found that my childhood joys pointed me down the path to discovering what I really wanted to do with my life.”

What is something you’re good at?

“Everyone is good at something. Everyone has a talent. If you can’t think of one offhand, try to think back to compliments you’ve received from the people in your life.”

What do you do in your spare time?

“When you’re done doing everything that is required of you, how do you spend your time? What do you look forward to after you’re done with your tasks every day?”

Most times you’ll find that what you do in your free time reflects what you’re already good at.

What if Money & Success Were Guaranteed?

How would you spend your time? I know some of you are thinking that you’d lay on a beach in some tropical paradise drinking margaritas, but you can only drink margaritas on the beach for so long before getting bored. What would you do that would engage your mind?

A lot of people today are driven by money. This is not necessarily something that reflects greed. Some people are motivated by money simply because it makes them feel a higher sense of freedom when they don’t have to worry about how their bills are going to get paid, or sending their kids to college.

But if money wasn’t an issue that you needed to worry about at all, what would you spend your time doing?

Think about it for a minute. Chances are your passions are hidden by the worries and struggles  of everyday life.
