Live Fully In The Present

Life is extremely beautiful when you slow down to enjoy it. However, with so many things on your to-do list and more ways than ever to distract yourself, it’s very easy to lose sight of what’s important – right now. Stop sulking about your past or worrying about the future; start living fully in the present moment.

How do you do this? Minimize the things that distract you and give your undivided attention to what you’re doing. For instance, when you go out with your friends or family, turn off your phone, or better yet, leave it in the car, and enjoy the moment fully. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is uncertain. The only sure we have in this life is right now, so chose to live in the moment.

Be Your True Self

Each and every one of us has something within that no one can duplicate – our uniqueness. But for some reason, we tend to live fake lives to please our friends, spouses, bosses, colleagues and family members. We fake personalities, accents, orgasms…you name it.

You can never be happy living a lie. So, let go of the fear of being rejected by others and allow your authentic self to come out. The people who are meant to stick with you will always be around no matter what happens. In fact, they’ll love you even more when you’re true to yourself.
